Exchange market calendars for pandas trading applications
What it is
A Python package providing holiday, late open, early close, and intraday break calendars for over 50 global equity and futures exchanges, designed to integrate with pandas for trading applications. Its date_range function generates a DatetimeIndex limited to datetimes when markets are open, and it includes product-specific calendars for futures exchanges with varying hours, breaks, and holidays. Traders and quants doing time series analysis in pandas will find it useful, since pandas itself deliberately excludes exchange holiday calendars by design. Calendars ship as package code rather than being fetched from a server, so users must install a newer release to receive corrected or updated market hours.
