TA-Lib Python
Cython-based Python wrapper for the TA-Lib technical analysis library
What it is
A Python wrapper for TA-Lib, the open-source technical analysis library, built with Cython and NumPy instead of SWIG. It provides access to over 150 indicators such as ADX, MACD, RSI, Stochastic and Bollinger Bands, plus candlestick pattern recognition, and works with Pandas and Polars. The Cython binding produces results several times faster than the original SWIG interface, making it suitable for trading software developers performing technical analysis of market data. Installation requires the underlying TA-Lib C library to be installed separately, which adds a setup step, particularly on Windows or Apple Silicon.
