Java library for technical analysis and strategy backtesting
What it is
An open-source Java library for technical analysis and trading-system research on the JVM. It provides OHLCV bar series, a broad catalog of indicators and candlestick patterns, and composable Indicator, Rule, and Strategy APIs for building and backtesting strategies with transaction costs, slippage, and position sizing. Developers working in Java who want reproducible research without a Python bridge or proprietary DSL are its natural audience. The project aims at research rather than guaranteed returns, and market data feeds and broker connectivity remain the user's responsibility.
