finlight
Financial news search with sentiment and company tags
What it is
A hosted news API for financial articles, available over REST, a WebSocket stream and webhooks. Queries can combine a ticker, a source and boolean phrases, and each article record carries a title, summary, language, categories, a sentiment label and extracted companies. Developers and desks who want that feed in a dashboard, a batch job or an assistant connected through an MCP server are the audience. It is a vendor news feed rather than a filings archive, the sample payloads on the marketing page are illustrative, and a working key starts from an account rather than an anonymous request.
