metatrader5
Python connector for the MT5 desktop terminal
What it is
An official Python package that pulls exchange data from a local MetaTrader 5 terminal through interprocess communication. Connected scripts can request ticks and bars, symbol details, market depth, positions, and deal history, and can send a trade request back to the terminal. Traders and researchers who already run that desktop platform and want arrays in Python for statistics or machine learning are the audience. Published wheels target Windows only, and every call depends on that terminal being installed, running, and logged into a broker account.
