finplot
Performant Python finance plotting for backtesting
What it is
A Python visualization library built on pyqtgraph for plotting financial data during backtesting. It renders candles, overlays, indicators, volume profiles and real-time updates, and handles hundreds of thousands of datapoints with panning and synchronized zooming across multiple charts. Traders and quants who need fast charting for stocks or cryptocurrencies at any time resolution will find it a good fit. It is a desktop library, not a web app, and does not work with Jupyter Labs, being intended specifically for backtesting workflows.
