Pandas scrapers for S&P 500 lists and Yahoo quotes
What it is
A Python package of extractor classes that pull stock tables into pandas and can save them as CSV. One class lists S&P 500 companies and can request main, technical, or performance fields; the others read a latest Yahoo Finance quote, historical quotes over a date span, and historical dividends. Researchers who want those tables without writing a downloader are the audience. The fetch is HTTP page parsing rather than an official market-data API, so a redesigned page can break an extractor.
