The Gold Barometer
Daily gold buying-conditions score and input archive
What it is
A public archive stores one daily gold buying-conditions reading, on a scale from zero to one hundred, with the zone, the pillar sub-scores, and the input values whose licenses allow redistribution. Each reading is committed and then left unchanged, and a later correction is added beside the original instead of replacing it. The same repository includes a standard-library scoring script and a monthly point-in-time backtest that keeps sub-scores next to forward returns. Researchers who want an attributable conditions series, rather than a spot gold quote, are the audience, and the figure follows a published methodology rather than quoting a tradable price.
