Python client for Brazilian Central Bank open-data APIs
What it is
A structured Python client for the Brazilian Central Bank open-data APIs. The SGS module downloads historical economic series such as policy rates and price indexes, the currency module scrapes the bank's public converter for daily buy and sell FX quotes, and OData endpoints cover PTAX bulletins, Focus expectations, interest rates, housing finance, bank reports, and instant payments. Economists and developers studying Brazil can call those endpoints synchronously or through async helpers. What comes back is only what that central bank publishes, depth varies by series, and the service can refuse a call when its request limit is exceeded.
