swiss-finance-data
Official Swiss policy rates, FX, CPI, and index prices
What it is
A Python package that loads Swiss financial series from official publications rather than scraped market sites. Callers can read the national bank policy rate and SARON fixings, franc rates against major currencies, consumer prices and inflation, prices and returns for Swiss Market Index names, and Confederation bond yields along the published curve. Quants who need Switzerland-specific inputs, including through the bundled Model Context Protocol server, must have a live network connection because each call fetches current data. The package complements a global vendor instead of replacing one, and the equity list stays on the index constituents it ships.
