Exchange rates, conversion, and holiday calendars over HTTP
What it is
A hosted REST API for currency exchange rates, amount conversion, a currency directory, and public-holiday calendars. Current quotes cover fiat currencies and a large set of cryptocurrencies, responses can be JSON, XML, CSV, or JSONP, and rates refresh on a quarter-hour cycle rather than tick by tick. Application developers who need conversion inside a product are the audience. The free plan does not require a card and does not include historical series, while metals, VAT number checks, and foreign-exchange value-date calendars are reserved for the paid plan.
