Currency reference objects and day counts in Python
What it is
A Python module that compiles a dictionary of currency objects for financial analysis, along with country lookup and date conversion helpers. Each object stores an ISO code, a numeric code, a name, rounding, a default country, fixed and floating day-count conventions, and an optional futures ticker, and an optional command-line extra can print the table. Analysts and library authors who need currency metadata inside pricing code are the audience. The table does not yet cover every currency, trading-centre calendars need a separate extra, and the module does not publish live foreign-exchange rates.
