Dividend Data Toolkit
Dated dividend snapshots and ETF holding exposure checks
What it is
A dependency-free Python toolkit ships dated payment and holdings snapshots for the SCHD ETF, together with source notes and a data dictionary. One script totals cash distributions between ex-dividend dates and can restate a single documented split onto a later share basis; another estimates one company's weight across ETF positions, plus an optional direct holding. Income investors and analysts checking a historical window locally, with no account and no network call, are the audience. The files are fixed snapshots rather than a live feed or a complete payment history, and a window that mixes share bases is rejected until you pick one.
