Geographic revenue splits parsed from annual reports
What it is
A Python library that extracts geographic revenue from SEC annual reports. You pass a ticker, it hunts through the rendered filing for the geography note, and it returns country rows and true region rows as shares of total revenue together with how much of the total those rows explain. Analysts and developers who want the split the company disclosed, without a filings database or a paid vendor, are the audience. The regulator requires a real contact address on each request and throttles traffic, region totals are never split into invented countries, and a company with no geographic note comes back empty.
