R downloaders and parsers for B3 exchange files
What it is
An R package that downloads, parses, and analyzes market files that B3, Brazil's main exchange, publishes on its website. Templates cover COTAHIST equity history, futures settlement prices, reference yield curves, ETFs and Brazilian depositary receipts, real-estate funds, equity and index options, and index membership with historical index series. Researchers working in R can cache those templates locally and then filter the resulting tables. Collection is web scraping rather than a broker connection or a versioned official API, so a redesigned page can break a fetch.
